The kitchenette was a lifesaver for cooking. The barbecue area offered stunning mountain views post-dinner, making our evenings enchanting.

Notably, cleanliness details fell short in spots—crumbs on the sofa bed and spiders lurking around. The sofa bed mattress, a bit springy, and the dated decor made the overall experience feel stuck in the past.

Great outdoor BBQ area with stunning mountain views.
I was really disappointed with the cleanliness of the room. There were crumbs on the sofa bed and even spiders lurking around. Additionally, the air conditioner was super noisy, which made it hard to relax at night.

Really enjoyed my stay at Gateway Motel. The ladies running the place went above and beyond, especially when they accommodated my last-minute reservation change due to bad weather while camping. I was grateful for the larger room they provided without extra charge. The comfy bed made for a good night's sleep after my cold camping days. Also, the lovely soaps and fresh flowers outside my room added a nice touch. On the downside, I found the city noise from the busy road quite disturbing at night, which could be bothersome for light sleepers. Overall, it was a cozy spot with special touches, though a quieter room might improve the experience.

A cozy stay with unexpected warmth
Waking up to the smell of homemade quiche was delightful. The dedicated towels for the hot springs were a thoughtful touch, and the friendly staff felt like family.
However, noise from passing trucks at night can be disruptive. Light sleepers might want to request a room on the second floor for a quieter experience.

Had a great time staying with friends! Clean, comfortable rooms equipped with everything you need. Enjoyed the lovely breakfast with freshly cooked quiche, and the beach towels were a nice touch for our hot springs trip. Don't miss the Radium Resort-The Springs Course while you're there. Perfect after a day in the pools!
Only downside was the breakfast not being on the premises, requiring a short walk to get it. Not a major issue, but it could be inconvenient for some guests.

I really enjoyed my stay in the Queen Room. The bed was super comfy, ensuring a solid night’s sleep. The bathroom was spotless, and I loved the little details like the nice smelling soaps. It was great having a drip coffee pot in the room—I brought my own coffee, which was a nice touch! Just a tiny downside was the noise from the road at night, but I was so tired it didn’t ruin my experience.
